New Leaders Council

Meet our 2017 fellows: Tracy Hightower-Henne

Leading up to the graduation of our 2017 fellows, we will be introducing you to members of the 2017 class. Today, it's Tracy's turn.

Tell us a little about yourself

Tracy

I am an attorney practicing in family law and criminal defense at Hightower Reff Law which was created by myself and my law partner Susan Reff. We help people during their most stressful time in their life -- divorcing and being charged with a crime. I also represent inmates who have been wrongfully convicted to be exonerated and released usually through DNA testing.

What attracted you to the New Leaders Council?

As Omaha continues to "grow up" I was interested in meeting other people like me who want to see our city be more progressive and innovative.

What have you gotten out of the fellowship?

Meeting my NLC Family has given me so much. After only a few short months of our Institute I have 19 friends that I could trust with my secrets. That is something.

Why do you love Omaha?

I love watching Omaha be better every year. Omaha has many advantages of being a small town and a big town.
